Study about the political participation of young people in Greece
Where: Greece
When: June 2019
Target Group: Youth
Organisers: Inter Alia

During June 2019, we lunched a small online survey that was disseminated mainly through the social media and more specifically the Facebook groups related to university past and present students in Greece. Our goal was to collect as many as possible responses from young people aged between 17 to 35 years old that live in different parts of Greece. The aim of the research was to understand how young people perceive political participation, how much involved they feel with respect to public affairs and if they believe that there are enough opportunities for their participation through the mainstream but also alternative ways of political engagement. We managed to collect over 180 responses and we used 148 valid ones for a qualitative analysis. Read the results of the study here.
